About Happy Student
Happy Student began with a simple aim: to make university life less overwhelming for the students who need support the most.
Our founder, Aram Tufan, moved from Turkey to study in the UK and quickly discovered that arriving in a new country, even with bags packed and a place at university, was only the beginning. From housing and healthcare to community and culture shock, the gaps were everywhere and the help was not always easy to find.
What started as a one-page document has grown into a platform trusted by students, universities and education professionals across the UK and beyond. Today, Happy Student is a go-to support app for young people navigating university life. But it is also more than that. It is a collaborative space built around real student needs, real-time feedback and meaningful partnerships.
